Tourism gave the Bay’s local economy a real boost over summer.

Guest nights in the Bay of Plenty for December were up 27 nights on December the year before.

“Tourism in the Bay is in great shape and there is a real flow-on effect to the rest of the local economy,” says Todd Muller.
